LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August 18, 2021 – Enhance and The Tetris Company, Inc. announced that their award-winning game Tetris® Effect: Connected is available for purchase starting today on Steam, with a special launch discount of 25% off and free digital deluxe goods for the first two weeks. The game can be played in 2D (including ultra-wide monitor support), or optionally in VR, with most popular PC VR headsets, including HTC Vive and Oculus Rift (or tethered Quest or Quest 2 HMDs) supported.
The Connected update is also now available on all existing versions of Tetris Effect (PS4, Oculus Quest, Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Store PC) in the form of a game patch that adds cross-platform multiplayer and bonus updates outlined below. A Nintendo Switch version of Tetris Effect: Connected has also been announced, due October 8th.

To celebrate Tetris Effect: Connected’s long-awaited debut on Steam, the game will be offered at a 25% discount for the first two weeks, along with the following “digital deluxe DLC” at no extra charge:
- A seven-track soundtrack sampler by Hydelic, including the fan-favorite song “Connected (Yours Forever)” (previously only available for a limited time on PS4 and Epic Games as pre-order bonuses)
- Eleven Tetris Effect-themed 4k PC Desktop Wallpapers

STEAM / PC GAME FEATURES:
As the ultimate version of Tetris Effect, the Steam / PC version of Tetris Effect: Connected is capable of running at resolutions of 4K or more with an uncapped framerate (with Vsync disabled), and includes ultra-wide monitor support as well as other expanded game and graphical options not found in the console release for both 2D and VR play (including adjustable particle volume and size, texture filtering, and more).
PLAYSTATION 4 DIGITAL DELUXE DLC DETAILS:
All current Tetris Effect owners on PlayStation 4 and anyone who buys Tetris Effect: Connected PS4 from August 18 to September 18 will also get a Digital Deluxe DLC bundle at no extra charge:

TETRIS EFFECT: CONNECTED GAMEPLAY UPDATE DETAILS:
- Cross-platform play between all current versions of the game (Steam, PS4, Epic Games Store, Oculus Quest, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Store PC, including Xbox Game Pass).
- Bonus features include a new Spectator Mode, as well as PAL and “Slow” speed modes.
- New performance or fidelity graphic options to boost resolution for Oculus Quest 2 headsets.
- Remote Play available on the PS4 version.
- Skill Rating (SR) reset on the Xbox versions to re-calibrate matchmaking between similarly-skilled players (Current SR will be immortalized on the game’s website).
