Welcome to the TETRIS EFFECT: CONNECTED WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

Players of all skill levels around the world are invited to compete in this massive online cross-platform head-to-head tournament!

Fill out the Registration Form for as many events as you’d like: CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK, SCORE ATTACK, ZONE BATTLE or CONNECTED 3v3 TEAMS.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

Ready to compete? Here’s how to register for the tournament:

1. Click the REGISTER NOW button above to visit our official Start.gg page.

2. If you don’t already have a Start.gg account, sign up for one. It’s free!

3. During sign up, choose the game modes you’d like to compete in.

4. That’s it! You’re now registered for the tournament.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK – NEW FORMAT FOR 2024

1. Registration: Head over to start.gg/tecwc to register for the CSA tournament! Registration closes on November 15th, 12:00 PM PT.

2. Match Communication: Joining the Enhance Discord server is REQUIRED for communication and reporting matches. Unresponsiveness on Discord before your first round match will lead to disqualification. Click here to join: discord.gg/enhance

3. Playing Your Matches: You have until November 30th, 3:00 PM PT to complete your matches. Streaming your matches is encouraged!

4. Grand Masters Finals: Live matches for players who reach the Grand Masters bracket will be held on November 30th, 5:00 PM PT.

SCORE ATTACK, ZONE BATTLE, CONNECTED 3v3 TEAMS
Two time slots are available to accommodate players worldwide. Register for one or both.

1. For your chance to compete, register now at start.gg/tecwc! Registration closes 2 hours before each time slot.

2. Matches begin at the designated times on start.gg. Full schedule below.

3. Players qualifying for the Grand Masters bracket will face off live on the following dates:

   • SCORE ATTACK FINALS: November 16, 5:00 PM PT
   • ZONE BATTLE FINALS: November 23, 5:00 PM PT
   • CONNECTED 3v3 FINALS: December 6, 5:00 PM PT

HOW TO PLAY YOUR MATCH

ZONE BATTLE, SCORE ATTACK, and 3v3 CONNECTED TEAMS events

How to check in:

1. Navigate to start.gg/tecwc
2. Clicking the View Match button next to the event, listed in the Your Events section.
3. From here, you can click the green check in button, then wait for your opponent to check in!
4. If you don’t check in before the timer ends in 15 minutes at the start, you’ll get disqualified from that match, so make sure to check in! If you need to do something, make sure to check in first then let your opponent know.

How to communicate with your opponent:

1. Once you checked in, there will be a chat tab available on your start.gg match dashboard.
2. You can use this chat log to communicate with both your opponent and any staff if any issues arise! You can also use ⁠#tecwc-chat in the Enhance Discord server to get in contact with your opponent if they haven’t checked in yet.

How to communicate with staff:

• We’ll have staff on stand-by to help with any issues that arise, if you have any questions direct them to #⁠tecwc-support in the Enhance Discord server.
• If you need help, there is a button to notify moderators in the chat tab on start.gg, and a moderator should come by shortly. Make sure to use this feature if you are having issues progressing with your match.

How to set up the lobby:

1. The higher-seeded player will setup the lobby, as they get preference over what side to play on. This means that the player who is ranked higher (or has the lower number displayed next to their name in the bracket) would create a friend lobby and send that code over to the opponent.
2. The host should set the WIN COUNT to 3, and that’s it. No other rules need to be changed, so once both players ready up in-game, you’re good to go!

How to report the score:

1. After the match ends, you can report the scores via the report tab on start.gg. Each round you play is counted as a win, so make sure to update the score after each round.
   For instance, if Player A wins round 1, but Player B wins rounds 2 and 3, you’d report a win for Player A in round 1, and a win for Player B in rounds 2 and 3. You only need to play one set. Thus, you would only need to win 2 rounds to within one match to defeat your opponent.

2. Make sure both players verify this score, and if there are any questions or disputes that arise from this, don’t be afraid to notify a moderator!

CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK event

1. Review the rules on the CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK start.gg event page.
2. After brackets are finalized, navigate to your CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK bracket communications channel within the TECWC 2024 category in the Enhance Discord server. The channel name will be #classic followed by your bracket tier (i.e bronze, silver, gold, etc.) !
3. Tag your opponent in the channel to determine a time to play your upcoming match. If you are having issues scheduling a time where both players can participate, please let a moderator or TECWC admin know.
4. Once a match is completed, report your match score to ⁠#classic-score-reports on Discord. So that a bracket admin can update the start.gg bracket.

NOVEMBER 15 – CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK / CONNECTED 3v3 TEAMS (TIME SLOT 1)

• CLASSIC SCORE ATTACK Brackets Begin – 12:00 PM PT (see your local time) (CSA brackets end Nov. 30, 3:00 PM PT)

TECWC 2024 will be offering a total cash prize pool of US $3000. Cash prizes will be awarded to fourth place and up per mode, as well as to the top four finishers in the TRI-EFFECT-A finals.
